Winter's break was sure worth the rest. Now there's lots of work to be done.
Looking back over the holidays, I made note of the milestones and mini-goals accomplished while still having an eye on the big picture.
The hummingbirds have returned and the songbirds fill the river forest with a delightful melody, like an orchestra that only Mother Nature could conjure up. It's such a beautiful sound to hear and so soothing to the soul during meditation time.
Warmer days are ahead with active schedules. While the nights are shorter, many will want to soak up every ounce of sun that is possible, dance in the rain and take advantage of the daylight hours in reorganizing, rebuilding, and spring cleaning from household chores, gardening and yard work to the depths of the inner soul that needs a recharge too.
There's nothing like the sound of a waterfall or a babbling brook and kick back and relax from all the hard work put forth.
My favorite spot is right here.
Looking at the big picture and following a dream as it flows.
