Now is the time to sign up and join in on the fun. New to writing? No Problem.
Write and let your imagination run wild and let the words just flow. There is no need for editing, no one is looking over your shoulder checking for spelling, grammar, plot holes, sagging middles and no one is going to criticize your attempts at writing a first fast draft.
I've always loved the free writing approach. The right side of the brain is set free to explore and pour out from your heart the words you have managed to contain deep inside. For most writers, you will understand this very logic. 'Writers still write even if they don't have a pen and paper at hand or sitting chained at their desk pounding away at the keyboard, or having a laptop at their disposal wherever they may travel.' Instead their internal editor is off, viewing the world as it is, perceiving the emotional vibes of life itself and are actually still writing. If it doesn't get written down right away or typed into a word doc, it stays within that writer, layer upon layer building up like a volcano ready to explode.
November is a brilliant time to let go of all that you have been inhibiting within. Let the words flow like lava, building a new foundation and structure for an exciting new work in progress. Remember, NO EDITING! NO WORRIES!
Let the fun begin! It's not to late. If you love a challenge, now is your time to exercise your writing abilities, sharpen your horizons, look forward into the future and increase your prolific literacy moments.
It doesn't matter what genre you choose, or what market you plan to seek. Already have a book idea plotted out? An outline? Great! You are not alone in your venture to exceed beyond the normal routine schedule. It's time to shake things up a bit and rattle the brain.
Don't have a plot or outline? That is not a problem either if you love free writing as much as I do, you might want to check out Author Chris Baty's book entitled, "No, Plot, No Problem", a great writing resource. It's content resource will help to hone a skill that you have within you.
